- The newest Apple IIGS RAM card is now in production and orders are being
delivered. This 4 meg card being sold by GarberStreet Enterprizez can be
ordered with or without memory SIMMS, using either Paypal or a check/money
order. Ordering information can be found at:
http://garberstreet.netfirms.com/RAM-4-GS.html

- Due to massive problems with the printing company used by Syndicomm, the
May issue of Juiced.GS was not mailed to the majority of subscribers. In
order to make sure that everyone gets the information in as timely a
fashion as possible, Syndicomm has released the issue as a downloadable
PDF, giving non-subscribers a chance to view a "sample" issue. Readers
who are online and have access to a graphics-based browser and a copy of
Adobe Acrobat may download the issue at:
http://www.juiced.gs/issues/v9i2/JuicedV9I2.pdf . This issue also
contains a section in memory of Gary Utter.

- Marinetti users will be interested in Geoff Weiss' latest update of his
command-line ping utility. Version 1.1 fixes some text errors, directs
error output to stderr, provides an argument to get the version number,
and supports output redirection. Geoff has also released version 1.0.2 of
the Hash Tool Set, which fixes a bug effecting the data bank program
bank registers. Andrew Roughan has posted a compiled version of the tool
set and it can be-download
at: http://home.ozonline.com.au/klajr/apple/tool128.shk

- //c+ users who have experienced the problem of floppy drives which keep
running when using A2Desktop v1.1 will be interested in the fix developed
by Jay Edwards and Tony Cianfaglione. Using a program called Hook by Bill
Tudor, they have developed 3 programs that quiet the drives. The files
can be downloaded at: http://www.chebucto.ca/Services/PDA/appleII.shtml in
the Apple II Miscellaneous programs section.

- Apple II emulation continues its evolution with new software updates:

  - Fishwings, the Apple II disk image utility for Windows users has been
updated to version 0.87. New features include support to view Integer
BASIC listings, dragging and dropping images into a FishWings window, as
well as several bug fixes. The latest version can be downloaded at:
http://www3.bboard.com/charlied/fishwings.htm

  - A rediscovery of sorts: an Apple //e emulator written by Keonwoo Kim's
Apple gives the user the ability to emulate sound cards such as the
Mockingboard or the Phasor, allowing sound with //e games that support
those to be run. The program, which needs to be compiled by the user to
run, can be downloaded at:
http://kldp.net/projects/appleinpc/

- There's still time to register for Kfest 04! This must-attend Apple II
(and Mac) event will be held July 20-25th at Avila University, in Kansas
City. For more information, and to download a PDF registration (or for
